June 20th Hardwick VT on a SAG wagon stop (by Story)
After supper we enjoyed s'mores by the fire and then turned in fairly early. The night went quite smoothly other than the raucous crowd at a nearby site. Thank goodness they quieted down not long after Doc asked them to realize others were trying to turn in for the night (or I just fell fast asleep). Sammie and I awoke with the birds and went for a nice morning walk where we saw rabbits, an angry red squirrel and a yellow-bellied sapsucker up pretty close!! Getting packed up took a little longer than planned, but we will get the routine down or get the gang up earlier in the days to come.

How wonderful that Hardwick has a bakery with WiFi across the street from the laundromat!! Surprise dessert for everyone tonight!! |
Emily and Doc taking off from Stillwater Campground this morning...they got a head start and were at the first water break stop just minutes after the others even left the campground!!
Thinking of this journey each day ... the sunny skies and moderate temperatures seem like they were ordered especially for this adventure. Raptor ON!!!
