JUNE 25 - 27 QUEBEC CITY

Up early to get the laundry done before we leave the luxury of sleeping in beds in the hostel and hit the road again.  This will be brief, hopefully with more to follow, but no promises!!

We arrived in Quebec City just in time to get inside before our first thunderstorm let loose.  The last two riders were able to find refuge a few miles back and got picked up by our additional SAG wagon for the day (Becky Dexter was here to pick up Zach who has to be back in Fairlee for work.)   Fortunately it was a pretty quick rain, over by the time we were settled into our dorm rooms and ready to hit the town for ice cream!!

Yesterday we went on a tour of the Citidel, saw the changing of the guard (including the royal goat), and had time to shop, see other sights, rest, and eat more ice cream!!  We gathered back together for our last splurge in the city of a nice dinner at The Crazy Pig restaurant...YUM!!  Actually this morning will be the last small splurge---fresh baguettes with real butter, jam, marmalade, brie cheese, etc.

I said this would be short, so I will do my best to add a few photos below and then post so everyone can see our time in the big city!!  It's back on the saddles in just a couple hours!

We had a bike path that led us along the St. Lawrence all the way to the city!

Do we really have to walk around the city with these three???
We had a little fun on the way to dinner.

14 of us at Cochon Dingue (Crazy Pig) on the last night in the city
